Nuts and seeds – tahini, almonds, almond butter, sesame seeds.
Meat, fish and poultry – sardines, salmon.
Korn – Bannock, oats.
Drink not milk – rice or fortified soy beverages, orange juice fortified with calcium, soy drink regularly.
Vegetables – Cabbage, Chinese cabbage / bok choy, okra, mustard, cabbage, Chinese broccoli (gai LAN), turnips, broccoli.
Fruit – Orange.
Other –Brown sugar, molasses, molasses regular.
Asian food – dried fish, smell, plate of tofu soy Hemerocallis flower, sea cucumbers, films of soy milk, seaweed, wakame, Fat-choy, bean films of soy milk, soup, boiled leg.
Recommended daily use
The children – aged between 0 to 6 months: 210 mg, aged 7 months to 1 year: 270 mg
The children – aged 1 to 3 years: 500 mg, from 4 to 8 years: 800 mg
Women – Age 9 to 18 years: 1300 mg Age 19 to 50 years: 1000 mg, aged 51Year: 1200 mg
Pregnancy – after 19: 1300 mg Age 19 and older: 1000 mg
Breastfeeding – Age under 19 years: 1300 mg Age 19 and older: 1000 mg
Men – Age 9 to 18 years: 1300 mg Age 19 to 50 years: 1000 mg, older than 51 years: 1200 mg
Food
Absence – insomnia, anxiety, nervousness, depression, fatigue, muscle and joint pain, muscle spasms / cramps, high stomach acidity, osteoporosis, cramps, birth defects, miscarriages, high blood pressure, Pressure irregular heartbeat disease, heart, hemorrhagic stroke, aneurysm, premenstrual syndrome, dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), rickets, increased risk of certain cancers.
Overdose / poisoning – arteriosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, ischemic heart disease and stroke, hypertension, low acid stomach, muscle / joint pain, depression, fatigue, glaucoma, increased risk of several cancers, cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, calcification, skin dry; constipation.
