Delicious as a side dish or as an appetizer with a prepared dip is served, is to make grilled cauliflower quickly and easily, with few ingredients. This dish goes well with chicken, beef, pork and seafood.
1 head cauliflower
3 tbls olive oil or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or seasoning mix
Preheat grill to 425 degrees.
Wash cauliflower and remove leaves. Cut about one inch from the trunk. WithSitting upright the cauliflower and cut the stem down, vertical slices, 1 1 / 2 inch thick to hold the flowers, which are appended. To combine in a large zipper pocket in the remaining ingredients and mix. Add cauliflower slices being careful not to break it. Marinate in the mixture for 10 minutes. Place slices on hot grill and cook for ten minutes on each side or until they are soft, turning with tongs. Serves 4 as a side dish or 6 as an appetizer.
Note: If theCauliflower pieces break apart during preparation, they can still be used if they are large enough, on the barbecue. Cauliflower can also be roasted in the oven if a grill is not available.
Other ways to use, to Grilled Cauliflower:
1. Cut into slices and serve with dip.
2. Combine sliced cauliflower with other cooked vegetables for a main course.
3. Add to stews and sauces.
4. Combine with cooked rice and spices for a pilaf.
5. In the vegetable soupor broccoli-cheese soup.
6. In the stew is particularly good in beef stew.
7. In the omelettes.
8. Add to your favorite salad.
