Five minutes oysters

We went "yard sale" twice last weekend. Last Friday we went to Twin Falls and Saturday we went to yard sales in our small mountain, Trout Capital of the Universe.
Trout be trout here as Hershey Kisses ® Hershey ® shows.
We share the trout each year, the fry AGM by a local scout group. My wife and I collect the cards and money at the door for othersdecided that the fried trout is better than cooking. Scouts earn trout, and we hand them the case.
This year I tried to buy some people to a flag, so I could give them the profits to go to scouts, but nobody thought of auctions, they came for the trout.
One thing I miss in Idaho is seafood. The closest you can come and seafood are a ® sizzler in Twin Falls. They can buy small salmon and shrimp skewers to go with him.In some ways, it is not the same as a good seafood restaurant in Cape May, New Jersey and Philadelphia. We did not even have a Red Lobster ®.
You can also buy fresh crab meat at the grocery store, in rare cases. If available, I get a couple packs and throw them in my freezer for later use. I'm addicted to the omelette with crab meat.
Last Saturday I was chatting with a lady who sells his house when he said: "Everything is half-off Saturday. I had a bottle of spices and thenIt took off again, because it is a dollar, the sale yard is against my religion, the cost of money for the seasoning.
When you said that half-off, I took the bottle and gave up four bits.
The spice is Beau Monde Seasoning by Spice Island ®. It says on the label that can be added to dishes such as oyster soup can taste, instead of increasing with the salt. I read the label and is fortified with sugar salt, dextrose, onion, celery seeds, and tricalcium phosphate.
However,oyster stew, the words put me in a trance.
My wife, who always knows what I believe, said: "You can have some oysters at the local market."
I immediately ran over there, do not expect fresh oysters, or find something that looked like fresh oysters, but could be a substitute.
Our store just recently canned oysters. The doses were the same size, about half the size of a can of corn, and the company was 10 cents cheaper than the other two brands.When reading labels, I decided that probably all from the same factory in Korea. Ingredients
1 can chicken broth
1 can cream (I had to use cream of mushroom, but when I got home from the store, I discovered that there are fresh out. I have the cream of broccoli soup with cheese. I thought it would be a strong sense of oysters, but I was wrong. Do not add water or milk with a can of soup.)
1 canned boiled oysters. When you buy fresh or others,Oysters, I suggest you fry in a skillet with butter and a clove of garlic first. It takes only a minute or so. (Do not buy oysters in the box, if you can get the original. Oysters canned good taste, but are a bit 'too slick for me, at least the ones I bought.)
1 can of mushrooms (fresh mushrooms is always better, but takes more work)
1 can sliced potatoes
To 1 can sliced carrots, the dish a nice color
Beau Monde seasoning or salt, sugar, onion andCelery seeds (remember tricalcium phosphate)
Procedures
Drain all the cans with the exception of the soup and chicken soup, of course.
Chuck Put the mixture into a saucepan and bring to boil. (Of course you can throw a clove of garlic if you like.)
Served
I discovered that there was no need for this age group of oyster stew. The flavor was there at the beginning.
My wife does not appreciate the stew of oysters, or anything that smacks
I ate everything in two matches.

How green leafy vegetables, add to your diet

Leafy vegetables are very nutritious and low in calories. Healthy foods in the world site (www.whfoods.com) are cabbage, kale, mustard, spinach, beets and kohlrabi in the list of healthier foods. Dependinggreen, you can download a high-calcium, iron, antioxidants and vitamins A, C and K, among others. (www.whfoods.com provides a complete list.) As a general rule, dark green, the more nutrients it contains. Leafy vegetables are also a good source of fiber.
So what do we do with them? Now, here are some of my favorite easy tips:
* To remove or wash the kale – stems and chop a couple of Verdi. Add one or two tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan, saute vegetablesa minute or so, then add a small amount of butter and garlic, finely chopped (the butter must not burn the garlic!). A bit 'of salt and continue cooking and stir over low heat until tender green, but not overcooked. (I prefer my vegetables slightly crunchy, so I do not cook it long – for me, if they are dark green and limp, they are cooked so long.) I like this served as a page, beans and rice. You can connect directly into the bowl itself.
* Another ideaKale – Kale is easy for many different meals concealment recorded. (Useful if you're fussy cooking. Wash and dry) and remove a lot of kale, stems and then chop finely mash in your food processor (not!). * Ingredients: 1 cup, even brown rice, 1 complete set of spinach, 1 large onion, olive oil, 2 tablespoons of butter, salt and pepper, 1 package of sharp cheddar cheese 1 / 4 cupParmesan.
1. Boil 1 cup long grain brown rice according to package directions. (Do not use white rice for this recipe because it is too bright and tacky).
2. Chop the last 20 minutes to cook the rice, onion and fry in a large frying pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Cook until the onions are soft start.
3. While the onion cooks, wash chard, remove stems and chop coarsely. When the onions are soft, add 2 Tablespoons of butter in a saucepan and add the chard. Slightly salty. Stir, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until Wilts (beets alone, this should not be greater than 3 to 5 minutes).
4. Tire pan and layer of cheddar cheese over spinach. Much? This depends on your taste. I use about 1 / 2 a small stone (maybe 4 ounces) cheddar cheese.
5. Cover with hot rice and cheddar cheese, wait a moment> Cheese to melt. Then a mixture of spinach, cheese and rice thoroughly.
6. Salt and pepper.
7. If you have more taste, or parmesan or cheddar cheese add even more. For most vegetables, you can also use carrots or sliced garlic, chard, while the kitchen.
As I said at the time, there is a low-fat recipe. I serve it with warm bread with a drizzle of olive oil, and that all food is.
